Summer school will be held at the Learning Center (Rm 123) Monday through Thursday, May 28-June 27, 2013. Sessions are 8:00-12:00 or 12:00-4:00 (students will choose one session to attend). ALL course work MUST be completed by June 27th in order to receive credit for the class.
Students may take ONE 1/2 credit class during the session to make up lost credits. Students may only take a class that has been failed; they may not take classes in place of an SHS class. The cost for summer school is $65.
Students may miss a MAXIMUM of three (3) sessions (12 hours). They will not be excused for extended time for vacations, sports camps, etc. Students who exceed the three day or 12 hour maximum will be dismissed and forfeit credit. No refunds are issued if students are dropped or withdraw after the summer session begins.
Students may pick up applications for summer school in the Learning Center (Rm 123) before and after school beginning May 1st. Enrollment is limited to 40 students (20 per session) and is filled on a first come, first served basis. Students MUST return a completed application AND the $65 fee to reserve a space. ALL applications must be returned by May 23rd.
Any student in jeopardy of failing a class and wanting to attend summer school needs to complete an application and reserve a space. If the student passes the class, he/she will be withdrawn from the summer school and a refund will be issued (fees are not deposited until May 28th). Applications will NOT be accepted after May 23rd for any reason.
